AWESOME with a capital AWESOME! review by Saberrecon on 2/4/2012

I've never played on a Spaun kit before I ordered this very same set up in July '11. I set and tuned the stock Evans G2 heads ONCE! I play pretty hard and I'm simply amazed at how well they hold their tune. Each drum cuts through the other with intense volume. The 8" and 10" toms have a wide range of tuning without getting choked out on the higher scale. The 12" tom sounds great at the lower end and the 16" floor tom has jaw dropping punch and clear lower tones without the growl I got from other brands. I've never been a fan of muffling the kick drum but always had to with the other couple of brands I played but I don't have to with this one. It's deep and has a lot of punch! I'll never play another brand. If you guys keep making them like this you'll never go out of business I'll keep coming back for more! Thanks guys!!
