Mikey Pettengill- Longway
A Southern California native and a fan of “Punk Rock” and Rock music, Mikey began drumming at the age of 19 and has not stopped playing since. With no formal musical education he has come a long way since he began playing in his parents garage. With an aggressive drumming style and heavy hitting he has toured Nationally and Internationally, recorded two full length albums on Punk Rock Indie label Old Shoe Records and is currently in the process of writing a new record with his So. Cal based band Longway. When time permits he also plays with the So. Cal based rock quintet The Lonesome Ones on Loaded Bomb Records. Mikey loves the drums and loves to talk drums whenever possible. His drumming influences are : Josh Freese, Brooks Wackerman, Bill Stevenson, Derek Grant and Atom Willard.
