Bio :
My mother and father have played in bands since they were teenagers and I have one sister who is a music teacher, so I was always surrounded by music. I grew up in a very small town out in the Country in Australia where there was literally no opportunities as a musician there. Once I had finished school I packed up and headed for the Gold Coast where I started an extreme metal band called 'Devolved'.
The band has 4 cd releases, including 'Oblivion' released May 24th 2011. We have toured extensively throughout Australia, UK, Europe, Japan and other parts of Asia, with bands such as Machine Head, Fear Factory, Strapping Young Lad, Opeth, Arch Enemy and many more.
In 2004 I travelled to the USA and began working with Fear Factory guitarist Dino Cazares on a new project which became Divine Heresy. Unfortunately I had to step down from playing drums full-time in DH and return to Australia due to visa restrictions. I have since relocated permanently to Los Angeles and I continue to co-write material with Dino which has been featured on Fear Factory and Divine Heresy albums as well as the Roadrunner All-Stars album.
I also drum for LA based band 'Kavan' and I am currently involved in 2 other metal projects which will both be releasing material in the near future. Aside from my Spaun endorsement I am also sponsored by Sabian cymbals, Pro-Mark drumsticks, Aquarian drumheads, Axis pedals and Wilson sports.
