Chris Hawkins- Midian
New Jersey based drummer with over 20 years playing and recording experience, and over 10 years teaching experience. Some of the bands he's played with are: thrash band MIDIAN (1989-1992), GOMEZ'S CHILDHOOD..hardcore band (1994-1997), HEDGE..rock band (1999-2000), CHILD..nu-metal (2001-02), DAMN NEAR ALCHEMY..stoner rock (2003-04), THE BINARY CODE..technical death metal (2005). Chris has been teaching in the Northern New Jersey area since 2001and has given lessons to over 150 students. And the list gets longer every year!!!
In early 2010, Chinese metal label AREA DEATH PRODUCTIONS released a double CD of all the past MIDIAN recordings called "THRASHOLOGY". Only 1000 copies were pressed and have sold out. Because of the CD and the overwhelming response it has gotten, Chris has reformed the band and are looking to start play gigs again starting this late summer/early fall. It's been over 20 years since the band has played.
