Art Banura- Murder Death Kill
• Background:
Started playing drums in 1994. Played in various punk bands including Weaksauce. Started seriously touring in 2003 with Blood Stands Still later going on to tour with Donnybrook! and Murder Death Kill more recently. Emphasis and drive based on hitting the drums solid and consistent. Hooked up with Spaun in 2008 and Paiste in 2011.
• Influences:
Eric Sandin (Nofx), Dave Lombardo (Slayer), Bomber Manzullo (RKL), Derick Plourde (Lagwagon), and Jarrod Alexander.
• Setup:
Four piece Maple Custom kit (Satin Black stain with Chrome hardware and die-cast hoops). Also a 24 ply Maple snare and now a Carbon-Fiber snare: 18” x 22” kick, 10” x 12” rack tom, 14” x 16” floor tom, 6.5” x 14” snare (both of them).
